The cylinder was in good condition but the colour was very dirty. I could not accept this.
For the cylinder and the fly wheel cover I selected a bright grey metallic. I removed the paint of the cylinder head and leaved it

After the paint work the case was ready for reassembling. I used new bearings and replaced all the seals. All the gears had been
cleaned up perfectly and so I was ready with the engine in a few hours.

Prepped and primed ready to go . Sascha via his work has access to a professional spray booth . He himself spent years spraying in the automotive industry
Not all of us have access to a spray booth for free. You can however attain a dust free environment anywhere and 2k paint aerosol cans are available. You crack a seal sending the hardener into the paint and you have 2 hours to use the paint. 2K usually gives a far better result that rattle cans , however cans in the right hands and environment can also produce excellent result , but you cannot lay the paint on as thick and the delay in painting with wet paint attracting dust is asking for problems.
The engine components were checked and then reassembled

Im excited about this. Im very proud that the plan worked to get this engine project done. There was no visual different to the original and I was
very excited how the engine would work.
