Pols superb skill was amazing to watch. What was even more incredible was his great fitness. He was working on the bike continually without taking a break. The sweat was dripping off him, but he paid no notice to it and just kept working. He is a very strong and talented rider, without a doubt.

Pol states that he started riding on the motorcycles and only started riding cyclo trials after wards as a way to improve technique. I thought perhaps that Pol studied at college in addition to riding, but I was wrong. He is totally committed to the sport and is a professional rider. He is supported by his sponsors, his father and of course, Sherco. So for the 19 year old Pol life is all about getting better and getting better on the bike, little by little every day.

Pol rubs Tar onto his wheel rims. This makes the brakes work better. He
practices 4 hours per day every day and when I arrived at his home he was
working so hard bouncing and hopping his trial cycle around a carefully
constructed trials course. The obstacles he was riding over were incredible.
