page 4 2013 Andreu Codina feature Interview
I asked Andreu where his GasGas Halley bikes were. He told me that he had given them on load to the Manual Casada collection in Madrid. Then i remembered that a friend of mine John Richardson had been there and taken this photo. These are Andreu's bikes.
Two more photos from the garage and then its time to go inside for the interview
The house is a beautiful old place inside and out. Andreu has lived there for 10 years and has carried out a lot of work to get it right . It is a big house with many floors.
This old motorcycle is a Montesa Impala sport 175cc and belonged to Andreu's father. The motorcycle was sold by his father before his death.
Many years later , the new owner approached Andreu knowing that his father had died. he showed Andreu the now beautifully restored same motorcycle. The man said that the motorcycle deserved to belong to Andreu and gave it to him. What a nice thing to do .This is Andreu's most important bike by far.
So this is the moment.......we walked through the doorway into the lounge and started the interview
