The casings were now empty of bearings and seals. I then literally Jizered everything and then jet washed it all.
I then started stripping the frame. The Grimeca caliper was finished and totally totally siezed. The brake line was rusted and awful and would need replacing. The master cylinder was also broken and seized.
I do agree that most people wouldnt have bought this. Its certainly a lot of work.
I removed the front wheel and forks. The spindle was seized really bad. The bottom of one of the fork legs was snapped.

The sump shield will need beating back into shape. It was a right pig to get off.
Getting the sump shield off was difficult. Everyone of the 4 bolts was seized so that all had to be drilled out and then the holes helicoiled. She's fighting me all of the way !! :).
Finally the chassis is getting lighter and is almost bare. Now the real work starts.
