Many of the nuts, spindles and bolts were replaced with titanium items. To the right of the front sprocket there would normally have been a shiny metal plate with a void behind, was the oil pump (used on other motorcycles who used this engine) was located. This plate and the entire box has been machined away, reducing weight considerably.

This cast aluminium fork brace has been machined out to reduce metal. It would not normally have the small holes.

You can see this bike has been kept in the dark, the very rare red bar pad has really kept it's colour where it would normally fade.

Ignacio then takes the Factory Merlin outside. It has a beautiful and historic back drop.

Eddy Lejeune's Factory Merlin DG350 FIUS was fitted with a different clutch with plates salvaged from Eddy's Honda. I felt it and the feel is sooo much better than standard. It is very positive and light.

The brake lines have both been fitted with braided pipes with red and blue anodized fittings. The front master cylinder is completely different from standard. The feel in the lever is very firm with great feel. Ignacio explained that Eddy was fanatical about having a good clutch and good brakes. Everything is a little bit special.

The rear shock is completely works and non standard. It has a remote reservoir and two springs instead of the standard one. This was a shock that the factory were developing.
