After this the main thing for me and probably a lot of persons in the Championship .....I am not very proud about the event but you were in Germany in section 1, I had a big conflict with the marshall and he give me a 5 and it was not a 5, this was the truth and the problem like we have with many cases today......then I become ........and I destroy the section. I pull out the boundaries of the section. I destroy the section, it was not very nice and I am not absolutely proud, but this was the fact, at the end of the event, competition, they disqualified me, I finished second and they decided to disqualify me and this was wrong, that the jury disqualify me, so we made an appeal in the higher and a few weeks later they replaced me in the 2nd position and they give me a 5 penalty and a monetary fine. This was the right thing because I have a very bad behaviour and it was normal to have a money fine.
So you had to pay a fine ?
Yes, I pay the FIM, I pay Fantic also as they were really not happy about my behaviour , I pay a lot a lot a lot of money as a punishment , but this was quite normal. Between the completion in Germany and the appeal we ride in 3 events and it was quite..... very difficult for me to ride the event didn’t know what was still riding for the World Championship or to finish third of 4th , you know. The points of the second place it was a lot and I didn’t know if I was leading top first or third or fourth in the World Championship.

When the FIM give in and decide to replace me the 2nd position of the Grand Prix of Germany this was before the 2 last events in Scandinavia in September. They are the 2 last races in Sweden and Finland and once again I had the possibility to fight once again for the World title with Eddy Lejeune and Steve Saunders with the big Honda factory and I ride incredibly well, you can look at the results. I remember I win the event with more than just 5 points, leading before the 2nd one and I finished to be World Champion. I really think that I was still the best rider. I had the trouble in Germany with the bad behaviour with Fantic, we were still the best and I was the best and for me from my point of view logical that I finish the World Championship this year.
