Giró as an engineer liked speed, but when Herrero died he said that he would never have any more speed in his factory, trial was not his favorite discipline. That is why he did motocross. Andrews, then signed for Yamaha he lost a good rider, then they signed a Sweed called Thor Evertson, but Eduardo Giró complained about the new rider’s fiery temper, it is difficult to understand them, he didn’t do well in OSSA, Muñoz also signed, he came from Bultaco and did a lot of races.

OSSA didn’t have a feel for competition because they didn’t do many races. Muñoz resigned, the factory carried on because they had trials market, Payà signed for Montesa, Muñoz signed him. Some time after they signed Payà back. And then with me we did some championship races, Eduardo would come and I would ask him for some changes but he was uncooperative and reluctant. As a pilot you could see that there was no real interest behind them. The factory though was number one for hospitality, not riders!
The factory could not carry on like that. I think Mario Borràs is now in France, working as an engineer but I don’t know exactly. Maybe he is working in a plastic factory. He loved this area. In Ossa he designed the Urbe model, wich was all done in fiber. But i do not know exactly where is he working .
