Exclusive Interview with ossa factory rider Albert Juvanteny
I told him the amount that I could pay him, not the factory , but me directly.  I spoke with the factory, these are expenses that you won’t have to pay anymore and  they agreed ha ha .  When I started with Paxau he was the best that I had ever been served by. I had a 100% confidence in my mechanic, which is so important. The bike went perfect. He is very good at his job.  He came with me to Italy and World Champion circuit, but then the factory and even Payà saw the prototypes that he had done for me, and thought that they go substantially better than the ones that they had.  Paxau you see had also improved the engines.

Then the factory asked him to do a prototype for them to see if they can incorporate it into their series.  I don’t know what happened someone said to him this is ‘gold’ and  put a high price tag for it,  which  was rejected by the factory.  Then we carried on with our arrangement until Merlin got in touch with him as they were not able to overcome the problems with the DG3.  We were half-way through the season and I had 100% trust in him. I could see that he started to sideline me in favor of other possible job opportunities.

hen I said to him that we had to leave it.  He proceeded to collaborate with Merlin. Then my performance plummeted, it affects you even physiologically.  All riders, if we plot a graph their performance goes up and  inevitably down.  When I was with Paxau I was at the top starting to dip a little bit, it was a critical time when he left.
