page 8  Francisco    Paya    and    the    1987    JP    325    Trial

Fransesc still has many parts for the bike. When he decided to stop production he held onto the stock thinking that one day, he might start it up again and create a retro bike. Well Fransesc....now is the time :)

You can see that this tyre has never been used but you can also see by the many cracks in the side wall that it is old. It also appears to have been painted with tyre black as well, for the museum perhaps.

Keep your eyes off the ladies legs. Were here to see the bikes :)

The JP, sure does have beautiful lines. The baby blue paint work and the dark blue pin stripe run parallel with the swinging arm.

The JP just embodies so well the incredible spirit that the Catalan trial community has had for so many years, to create new trial motorcycles.

Some are simple, some crazy and exotic. Some are created for the mass market by industrialists and some are created by entrepreneurs pouring everything they have into the project. Some are safe bets and others throw caution to the wind. Its this passion that will see the Catalan motorcycle industry continuing to feature strongly in Trials for decades to come.

If you bottle, distill, steam, boil down and purify Retro trials you will find that the JP 325 Trial motorcycle pops out at the other end of the science lab, time and time again:)

Its a very special motorcycle. Its special because its different, rare and a little bit unusual. It also looks as though it would be great to ride.

With no great master plan to take over the Trial world, Fransesc set out on the dream so many of us have, which is to create our own perfect Trials motorcycle.

He did it     ........    and nearly 30 years later, we are still loving them :).
Thank you to Fransesc and Xavi Paya for everything :)
