Conclusion
It would be fantastic if you could confirm that the bike was yours. If you don’t feel there is enough evidence to support this, I fully understand.
My intentions for the bike is to restore the motor and suspension and get it back to a 100% perfect rideable condition. As far as the cosmetics, I would leave those to maintain the bikes history.
The absolute cherry on the cake would be to get you out on the bike when its finished…maybe one of the big Spanish or French classic trials.
