PAGE 2 MEET EDDIE KARLSSON jotagas world trials rider and swedish champion
Eddie is still in college in Sweden. He has no idea how beer tastes and he has never drunk any. Jordi Tarres, Eddie's mentor would approve of this as this was exactly his life approach. Work hard, have fun, but no drink and smokes. Eddie's father is a vehicle dismantler in Sweden. He has large buildings, and when the weather gets cold, Eddie uses the fork lift truck to move out all of the old cars from the main building. He then brings in the rocks and makes sections. He then rides indoors as it was to cold outside to ride. Eddie wraps tape around his brake and clutch lever to stop his fingers sticking to the frozen levers. At the end of the day, the rocks come out and the cars go back into the buildings.
Eddie going out on Sunday morning to practice and see if his knee was up to it. Unfortunately it wasn't. He has a comfortable lead in the European championship and does not want to jeopardize this by damaging his knee further. Eddie stayed and watched the trial as his ferry back to Sweden wasn't until Tuesday. Eddie does all the driving as he is the only one with a driving licence.
