Fridges were one of the most sold things. Fridges were sold everywhere. At this time, Bultaco had money because we worked well and we sold a lot of bikes, and the commercial director was very entrepreneur, very very entrepreneur, he was a big value. This was a bad business, and we loose money. And i didn’t have the interest of building fridges, it wasn’t a machine that atracs me.
We loose a lot of money, because we did not want stop the orders because we didn’t want to put the Bultaco name in bad consideration
We stored all the fridges and sold them very slowly. It was a very bad investment. This adventure last for 2 years
Interviewer: So Bultaco never made the fridges, only put the name and sold them
Mr Paco: Yes.
Our impressive sales network, which was created by this commercial director, who was a very good friend of mine, a great guy, now death, and was an honor for me, mr Manolo Sidate. But with this point, he went wrong. But it was my responsability. The way we say in Catalan is «vaig badar» (i didn’t control it so much).
