Here Jordi can be seen at the 1989 Scottish Six days park ferme leaning into the back of a mark 1 Ford Fiesta organising his gear. His lovely crash helmet can be seen on the floor. Next year he would have a big comfortable truck not a small hatchback :)

Here Jordi can be seen in 1989 SSDT park ferme with his brother Fransesc . They are in the back of the huge Beta truck . You can see the painting on the truck. 

This is exact moment the fans had been waiting for at the 89 SSDT . There had been rumors of a watercooled Beta , but it had not been seen . Its debut was here right in front of your eyes. Here Jordi starts the watercooled Beta for the first time after it was lowered down from the Beta truck. You can see him using the choke on the carburetor. You can also see that it has a round cylinder head and barrell. This bike unfortunately overheated later in the trial. You will not ever see a round barrel and cylinder head on a Beta in any other photo. The round one was thrown away and the new angled one was fitted , which cured the over heating.

Here you can see Jordi practising before the trial. Look out for Wayne Braybrook and Jason Finn in the background with their bright blue shell suits on - They were apparently fashionable at the time :)
