The Spanish federation was then and still is today an essential financier and sponsor to riders who are still developing. The high cost of the Spanish competition licence fee pays for this. In the UK, the licence is cheap ....but there is not much support.
Were you paid by the rider or the motorcycle company ?
All the time the pilot...never with the factory because my business was with the rider. I have good relationship with Miquel Ciera from Montesa. He is a good friend and I work with Marc when he is with Montesa...but I am working for the pilot not the factory.
