2014 photo report of the Spanish World Trial at Arnedo
Toni Bou mnake slight work of the first set of double steps but comes downhill with a rear thump as everything compresses and bangs. Then he charges on the left line which Raga first used.
Not only does Bou fly up the section but he flies out as well. it was just incredible and the crowd roared and cheered. A great moment.
It was good to say hello to Mario from Photo trial. His wife was up on the hill as 2nd photographer. Mario photos trials for a hobby and produced the wonderful Photo Trials books from 1994.
A nice panoramic photo of a careful minder blowing the dust off the rocks. The section was very tricky and had no traction.
As Toni Bou found out , dropping a five which would be his only marks dropped of the first lap. He then went to clean it the next lap and the fived it again after on the final lap.
Time to head off to find some more section. These guys look to be having a nice time
One of my favourite photos. The old Aprilia comes to watch the new bikes.
Big smiles from Josep Paxau. Mr PXC. Without going any further down the page , can you guess who these guys are?
70's and life long Montesa rider Miguel Cierra and the Italian 80's and 90's Garelli, Fantic and Aprilia World rider Donato Miglio. Miguel and Donato are now team managers of Montesa and Beta respectively.
