2014 photo report of the Spanish World Trial at Arnedo
At the end of the paddock was a bullring. Yes...you heard right. I had been to a bullfight before but wasnt expecting one to be here. This immediately brought back memories of the old retro mid 80's photos of Amos and Jordi riding bull ring sections .
On ground floor we caught a peek of the inside
We went upstairs into the seating area.
It was still very early , perhaps just 09.00am and i think this must have been the first rider to do this section.
Realising that the action was about to start 1 mile away , we jumped in our little Fiat and headed off to one group of 4 sections on a steep hillside. All of them were right by the road and perfect for viewing.
This photo shows two sections. The first one is straight ahead along and around the ridge. The 2nd section is the one on the other side of the road on the steep cliff. This was the section were all the crowds would later be. This was the most exciting section of the day and where all the press were gathered.

Andy Blackman minding for Alex Wigg
Eddie Karlsson was the first adult rider to attack the big section . These photos show the sequence.
Now Eddie drops down for the huge climb at the end of the section. He winds the little Honda 250 up giving it everything .
Eddie takes off the first mound and gets badly crossed up . This unsettles him and his left leg goes out. Will he still make it ?
