Which montesa’s do you have now?

I’m sorry sorry. I have zero.

Why?

It’s easy. I am at this time I am very impulsive and very aggressive, work work work. At the same time when some people say to me “Pay attention “ I pay attention. I never say “no”. Nobody tell me look at your competition bikes, they are history. Nobody say to me, “Keep your bikes”. Nobody talk about this. No. When I ride always some people more clever than me say “oh, you sell me this bike?”. I say “yes, but when I finish this season”. They say “ok  ok, o k”. Then when I go back to factory the next day I say to people at the factory “My bike is already sold”. People ask for my moto. Everybody say “Ok”. Nobody say “no, you must keep for history “. No one. I just sell sell sell. I have many prototypes but now other people have these bikes. I know these people.

Pere made the first Montesita down here in his garage. The first Cota's were brought here Pere couldn't bear to be away from work at the weekends. The alcoves were shelved out with spares.

I love the link between the old and the new. Whilst Pere was working on the Cota and the Montesita down here , hanging on the wall over looking them all was the old Rabassa ladies bike . The tyres have gone crusty and rock hard and its all rusting but the  beautiful Rabassa Derbi logos still look ace.
