I arrived at the Saunder's house at about 6.30pm and was eager to take some photos before the light faded and then we could crack on with the interview. Steve explained to me that i would be surprised, as he had not got many things to show me for all the years he had been riding.

Steve led me out to his garage whilst explained to me that he had given most of his large trophies away to a local motorcycle club and that he had also given away all of his Trials clothing as well.I asked him why he had given them away and he replied that they were just sitting there collecting dust and someone else might get more out of them.

In the centre of Steve's garage was his father Dennis' beautiful Bultaco

He has been living at his current house for 20 years ,so his loft is fairly full. Steve explained that there might be a few bits and pieces up there , so i encouraged him up. Little by little Steve passed back down to me trophies and other items through a small opening . He then climbed back down and i photoed what he had brought down.
