I observed at this World round at Petersfield, Hampshire in 1988 when Steve Saunders beat Jordi Tarres in the appauling conditions .
I do have some pictures which i will dig out in time. in the meantime here is a copy of my programme from the day. you can see the water stains on the autographs. As you will know , it was a very rainy day
