I rode another excellent Bognor trial today at South Harting. The car and van parking was on a steep hill. Anne , my wife came with me and she was very upset at the angle of the van facing downhill at such a steep angle. The trouble is that after a few minutes i was sandwiched in and just had to leave it.
The trial itself was brilliant .

The car park was set on a huge sloping field that was perfect for wheelie practice ......so thats what we all did
One of the most notable points of the trial for me was that for the first time ever , there was another Jotagas at a trial i was riding . I couldnt resist a photo of us together.
The trial was set on steep wooded banks thick with wild garlic. If you like garlic , like i do it was quite pleasant , but there were a few riders complaining about the smell. The garlic contained so much moisture that the sections soon got very slippery. This soon mostly dried up and there was a lot of grip. The sections were steep though with tricky camber turns . You really had to keep your wits about you.
I signed up for the expert route , but seeing the 1st section i scurried back and went down a route.
The Jotagas didnt miss abeat. The suspension now seems to run in and working at its best , especially the rear shock. Its now very fast , but with slight damping. I have the shock set on the least damping setting which makes it springy. The shock now seems to be a little faster , which is exactly as i like it.

Just for the record, after almost a year im still on my original chain, sprockets , brake pads and tyres. I do appreciate that sections down south dont tend to ne rocky with tyres getting ripped up .Because the Jotagas engine is dosile and grippy ,it doesnt tear up tyres.
Thumbs up to Jotagas
