Whilst all Aprilia Climbers were fitted with Foral front suspension , Diego did experiment with different units. Some of the Foral forks were Gold and Red , with some silver.
The theme of great condition runs through to the forks as well. The anodizing can fade if left out n the sunlight , however you would be able to tell if these had been a different colour previously. These clearly have been bare alloy all of their life.
A crisp 1990 Michelin X1 front tyre and sponsor stickers
The rear mudguard of Bosis's 1989 Aprilia climber boasts the team sponsors for this year. Whereas some trials bike manufacturers encouraged their riders to seek their own sponsorship and paid their riders a basic wage , Aprilia organised the sponsorship themselves , leaving their riders to concentrate on riding rather than business. It makes sense , from that point of view. The flip side of the coin is that you are less likely to earn the super bucks that the likes of Jordi Tarres commanded.
PBR - made sprockets and sponsored the Aprilia team for many years.

One you get an eye for them , its easy to spot the titanium nuts , bolts and other fixings. Titanium is 30% stronger than steel, but is nearly 50% lighter. Titanium is 60% heavier than aluminum, but twice as strong.
Titanium is highly resistant to corrosion.Titanium is fairly hard (although not as hard as some grades of heat-treated steel), non-magnetic and a poor conductor of heat and electricity.

Can any work out what the felt tip pen ,markings are for on the rear sprocket.
This is the very same bike in action piloted by Diego. Not the very same heavily machined rear sprocket.
